We ask that you arrive after 12pm on day of arrival and leave by 10:30 on day of departure.

Does the cottage have a garden?

There is a garden to the rear of the cottage. It has been sympathetically built to reflect the natural surroundings. As such there are steep steps up to a lawned area which is higher than the cottage itself. From here there are spectacular views of all the surrounding mountains including Snowdon. You can also see the West Highland Steam Train go past a few hundred yards away. Please be aware the steps are quite steep and are made of local stone which can be slippery when wet and may not be suitable for the elderly and children. These steps are climbed at your own risk

Are the walks / trails easily accessible from the cottage?

The start of the Rhyd Ddu path is approx 50yds from the cottage. There is also a link path to the Snowdon Ranger path again about 50yds from the cottage.

Does the cottage have WiFi?

Yes there is free complimentary WiFi in the cottage.

Will I get mobile phone reception?

This will depend on your network provider but from our own experience we struggle for signal in the cottage, but can get it outside.

Can I bring my dog?

You are welcome to bring your dog at an extra cost of £10 per stay. Please be aware that the garden is not fully fenced off at the rear so you may have to keep you dog on a lead. We also ask that any dog mess is picked up and placed in the outside bin.

What do I do about food?

The cottage is self-catering so you will have to provide your own food. There is a shop in the neighbouring village of Beddgelert (approx 4-5mins drive) and supermarkets in Caernarfon (approx 10-15mins drive. Also the Tesco in Caernarfon will deliver to the cottage. There is also the Tea Room just across the street (not open all year round) and lovely food available in the pub 100yds down the road.
